A lot of the My Twinn outfits look similar to AG, too.

Speaking of which, has anyone ever seen or heard of a store called Wacky Bear? It's practically identical to Build-a-Bear.

Canadian Girl dolls! I like it! Although it's too bad the Meet outfit looks the same as Marisol. (Does that doll really have traditional Canadian features? )

They do look very similar but I would like to check them out before I make any reviews.

The price is very reasonable and the outfits are cute. Since they say, "Canadian" and the body might be different or just different enough not to infringe upon copy write laws.... these dolls could be competition for Mattel.
As far as the skin tone of the doll... she might be a native Canadian... Inuit, perhaps?

This should be interesting to follow. They may be pulled from the market quickly, too...before lawsuits start. Wait and see.

I can't believe they can make a doll that close to Marisol.

This will be an interesting situation to watch.

She's the Inuit girl, but I can't see anyone dressing like that in -50 temperatures! LOL That girl needs a good parka!

I was kind of scared by the Elizabeth-esque dress. I need to post a comparison picture-it's just scary how alike those dolls are!

Dear Kitswift22007,
Please do not laugh at me...but it's okay to laugh with me... LOL
When I was 12 and a freshman in High School.. I wore a dress for Easter that was "frilly" and black patten leather shoes to church. It was -45 degrees. But in the lower 48 we always dressed for Easter sunrise services so I did it in Anchorage, too. Talk about everyone in the church turning their heads and wondering if I had lost my mind. After that experience... it was ski pants, a sweater, and a parka.

Yes, she might just wear the "current fashion" but not for long....or she will be a blue baby doll.
hee hee hee.... ^j^ Mrs.C.
